The Township of West Orange is located in Northern New Jersey close to Newark. It has a rich history which includes being the birthplace of Thomas Edison. The residents of West Orange today make up a diverse population with a proud community heritage. Many towns shamefully disregard or don’t understand their history. However, West Orange is proud of its past and committed to preserving its history through awareness.
