Since many of us spend most of ours days in front of computers, likely with spreadsheets or other important files we are editing, shortcuts, like this one, can come in handy. For many applications pressing CTTL+S at the same time will allow you to quickly save a file. It is important to consistently save any file you are actively working on, in order to make sure you don’t lose any of your work. In addition, it is also important to know where you are saving your files, to ensure they are being saved to the correct location. Locations are normally specified by your IT Department or Upper Management, and are normally backed up as well. This way, in case there are any incidents, there will be a greater chance of retrieving your files.
