Verizon: Content Transfer App
It is always exciting when it is time for a new phone – including stocking up on new accessories like cases or headphones. The least exciting part is making sure all of the content from your old phone safely makes it’s way onto your new phone.
The Verizon Content Transfer app is here to make the transition seamless whether you have an Android phone or an iPhone, or are switching from one to the other. Any content that is backed up to the cloud will be automatically accessible on your new phone once you’ve logged in to the cloud. For any other content that hasn’t been backed up, you can use the Content Transfer app to easily choose what to transfer from your old phone to your new one. First, you need to activate your new device and connect to Wi-Fi. Then you can download the app on both phones, identifying which is old and which is new. You pair your phones and choose which content you want to transfer, whether it be messages, photos, or anything else you want to keep. In the app, you can see the progress, and once it’s done, you will see a summary of everything that was transferred. Lastly, you can start to enjoy your new phone!
