Microsoft’s New Commerce Experience (NCE) will finally be a requirement for all customers effective January 1, 2023. The main impact of this program will be how you choose to license your Office 365 SKU’s.
Prior plans allowed customers to add and subtract licenses on a monthly basis. This meant licensing costs would vary monthly based on what was licensed in a given month. This option will still exist with NCE, but there will be significant up charges to do so. Customers who choose the yearly licensing can still pay monthly, but the costs for this option will be less than staying on a monthly option.
