Although it should be apparent by now, this is the final reminder concerning Microsoft’s announcement concerning ending support for this operating system. If you still have not made arrangements to upgrade your equipment or replace your equipment running Windows 7 there is one alternative still available to ensure machines running this operating system are still protected.
Microsoft has announced the ability to purchase Extended Support for any machine running Windows 7. The fee for continued support for one full year is $60. We can arrange for the purchase of this “license” which will provide for basic security upgrades for an additional year from the end date for support from January 14, 2020. There are additional options to continue this basic support for 2 years, although we would strongly recommend replacement before this timeframe for other reasons.
