#time4voting MCG Providing PTO for Voting

MCG, Inc. supports the effort behind the trending #time4voting hashtag you have likely seen on social media lately. Instead of only issuing statements in support of change, MCG is committed to taking concrete actions that will allow for real change to happen to make a real difference. Based on the concept that when we vote for candidates who will fight for change every day, MCG will be providing paid time off to employees so they can vote. This will be provided in the upcoming Fall election, and every election going forward. Paid time off for voting can increase overall efficiency as well as equity. Employees will not have to decide if they are able to vote based on if the timing works out with their work schedule; with more people able to vote throughout the day, lines will shorten up during the most typically busy voting times in the early morning and evening hours.
