There are four main versions of Vista. They include two Home versions, a Business version, and an Ultimate version. For business, ditch the Homer versions. Although cheaper, they will not provide the features necessary to run a business class machine in an office enviroment including networking and remote access.
Upgrading an exsiting machine may be trouble. Vista will require a fast processor (1 Ghz or better) and alot of memory (1 GB or better). Also, it may or may not work with your current applications – you will need to check with the manufacturer of your software.
Microsoft provides an Upgrade Advisor which can analyze your current machine and provide detailed feedback on whether it is ready to run Vista.
But like all things caution is good to start. If you have particular questions please call the office for more information.
