This week, Apple announced several new products we can all look forward to. The event, help Sept 9, 2014 at 10 AM PT, first kicked off with the Apple website down, including a “We’ll be back.” and countdown message until the true start. Then began the live stream of the actual event, a moment many were waiting for (and speculating on what to expect). After a video on innovation and a few words from Tim Cook, the announcements began, starting with the iPhone. The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus were both introduced, thinner than ever before, with a better battery life, faster Wi-Fi, and new cameras. Pre-ordering begins Sept 12, and shipping starts Sept 19. In between that time, on Sept 17, new operating system iOS8 will be available for download. Another great feature to look forward to is Apple Pay, a new version of your wallet and a fast, secure and private way to pay for things everyday, which launches next month. Next, the “most personal device” Apple has ever created is their new Apple Watch. Apple focused not just on the technology the watch can provide, but also the look and feel of the watch itself, giving fashionable options like different bands or sizes. Lastly, U2 made an appearance and performed at the event, releasing their new album on iTunes for free. What was your favorite part of the unveiling event?
