Microsoft and Mobile

Microsoft recently acquired Acompli, a young email start-up company, for around $200 million. Acompli, an 18-month old company, makes an email application for iOS and Android mobile devices. The company was founded with the “vision of making the best mobile email application on any platform and across all services”. Though Microsoft hasn’t released many details concerning the new acquisition, they hope to combine their efforts with the Outlook team to deliver the full power of Office to mobile devices.
